The burden of allergic disease
Allergic diseases pose a significant health burden on a global scale. It is estimated that between 10–30% of the global population suffers from allergic rhinitis alone. Despite important advances in pharmacotherapy treatment options, the prevalence, complexity, and severity of these allergic diseases continues to increase worldwide.
